  • HEMA

    HEMA plays an essential role in the design, procurement and sales of our products. As such, HEMA is Return to Sender's most important partner. HEMA is a typically Dutch retailer, but many of its products are made in faraway countries. This is why HEMA identifies strongly with Return to Sender's ideas and objectives.

    The products are partly developed by HEMA designers, inspired by the local culture, colours, materials and techniques. The Return to Sender collection (recognisable by its special label) is available at nearly all HEMA shops in the Netherlands, as well as through the online shop at hema.nl. As HEMA does not seek to make a profit by selling these products, the profits return to the manufacturers by means of development projects and education in the regions of origin.

  • Boer & Croon

    Boer & Croon works with Return to Sender on account of a shared belief in sustainability: to generate collective profitability through socially-aware actions. The business community and its consumers are vital in bringing about actual change. Return to Sender determines its long-term strategy and determines the best possible structure for its organisation and processes in collaboration with Boer & Croon.

    The CBI (Centre for the Promotion of Imports from developing countries) is an agency of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs that supports Return to Sender by sourcing producers for our collections, providing creative input for Return to Sender projects and offering training courses to our producers.

    From the very start, HEMA has played an important part in the success of the Return to Sender brand. HEMA is a typically Dutch shop, but many of its products are made in faraway countries. Its identification with Return to Sender's ideas and objectives, in combination with its ambitions to be good to both its employees and the outside world, resulted in HEMA's decision to get on board and become Return to Sender's partner from day one.

  • Achmea

    Achmea is one of Return to Sender's founding fathers out of its dedication to the well-being of people. Achmea and Return to Sender share the philosophy that it is better to teach people to fish than to just give them a fish. In 2008, Achmea gave more than 20,000 employees an end-of-year Return to Sender gift. This helped us support even more projects.

  • Butterfly Works

    Butterfly Works is a do-tank that combines design with a contribution to solving international social issues. Butterfly Works used its experience and expertise to serve as Return to Sender's backbone with regard to content during the foundation's starting stages. Butterfly Works coordinated and advised on the selection of countries and parties to play a part in production, the investment of profits and the production of the television series.
