Casa da Esperança encourages women in the favelas of Recife to produce articles by offering them workshops about themes like leadership, strategy, communication and finance. Return to Sender buys the products made by these women's groups through the fair trade organisation BioFairtrade. With its project “Life with Hope,” Return to Sender supports both the women's groups of Casa da Esperança and BioFairtrade.

Over the past two years, the Christmas hangers in the HEMA collection made by these women were sold out almost right away. In the meantime, the women have started to diversify their market by producing articles for several other customers.
