Many children in eastern Sri Lanka have been traumatised by the tsunami of 2004 and the conflict between the government and the Tamil fighters.

Return to Sender supports the Gandhi Sevai Association, which provides good primary education and pays a lot of attention to psychosocial therapy and trauma treatment. The children can play games, follow evening courses, get educational materials and practice sports in the so-called Butterfly clubs.
