YMCA is dedicated to helping children in the slums of the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. Driven by poverty and poor facilities, poor migrants of the so-called hill tribes have moved to the city. Their children often spend much of their time in the streets of the slums, working till late at night selling flower wreathes, for instance.
Return to Sender supports YMCA in its efforts to prepare these children for formal education or to teach them local crafts.
