Judith en Fay
Dear Saoud,
My name is Fay and I'm 20 months old. Yesterday, my Mummy bought the T-shirt that you made, together with the other mothers. Mummy visited Madagascar three years ago, and saw with her own eyes what kind of conditions you live in. It left a huge impression on her, and she still talks about it a lot.
Of course she really enjoyed the amazing flora and fauna of Madagascar, but that was the only 'wealth' she saw. But despite the poverty, you are always friendly and cheerful. And still, when Mummy took a good look, she saw that there were many worries and sorrows behind those smiles.
By buying a T-shirt (and the women's shirt last year, which is really beautiful too, with the peacock), Mummy hopes to make a contribution to your happiness, even if it is only a very minor one.
Dear Saoud, and all of the other mothers, keep up the good work, have faith in the future. Don't stop hoping and enjoy the little things in life. Even if we can only help a little, if you continue to make such beautiful things, we promise that we will keep buying them.
Love Fay and my mummy Judith Cornelis
